Non-governmental organization established on the basis of the Association "Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists" for the implementation of international initiatives of

the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan-Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev.

The international project “G-Global”, initiated by the First President of RK-Yelbasy N.A. Nazarbayev, is aimed at consolidating the interests of all interested countries in improving the sustainability of the global economy, its management efficiency, broad discussion and finding solutions on global and regional security issues, inclusive development and human capital.

International activity

  • 2008-2014. The Secretariat was the main organizer of the I-VII Astana Economic Forum;
  • 2015-2019. The Secretariat is the main co-organizer of the VII-XII Astana Economic Forum;
  • 2013-2014. Secretariat Together with the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) held two World Anti-Crisis Conferences (WAC):
  • UN GA Resolution No. A / RES / 67/197 “International Financial System and Development” dated December 21, 2012;

      2)UN GA Resolution A / RES / 68/201 “International Financial System and Development” of December 20, 2013;

  • 2013 The Organizing Committee of the G20 Summit in the Russian Federation entrusted the Secretariat with side events (a side event within the Summit);
  • 2014 In order to effectively prepare for the holding of the VII AEF and WAC II, the Secretariat held more than 50 press conferences around the world;
  • 2014 In order to effectively prepare for the VII AEF and II WAC, the Secretariat conducted more than 35 outreach events of the WAC (Russia, USA, China, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Kazakhstan, Australia, South Korea, France, United Arab Emirates, Moldova, Great Britain, Estonia, Belgium, Germany, Singapore, Armenia, Thailand) with the participation of high-ranking representatives of UN member states, heads of international organizations, think tanks and financial institutions. The main outreach event to discuss the MAP Concept was the conference under the auspices of the Australian chairmanship of the G20, held in Washington during the spring meetings of the IMF and the World Bank;
  • 2014 On the info-communicative platform “G-Global”, the project “Virtual AEF and VAC” was successfully completed to formulate the Concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan, as well as to discuss all the events of the VII AEF. More than 1 million users from 170 countries took part in the Virtual Project and hosted over 15,000 reports and research papers, about 50,000 peer reviews and comments, as well as 400 video conferences, which were attended by leading experts and scientists;
  • 2014 With the assistance of the Secretariat, the international exhibition “Kazakhstan Investment Expo 2014” was held. The official website of the exhibition www.kazinvestexpo.org was designed to effectively prepare for the international exhibition “Kazakhstan Investment Expo 2014”, where 397 projects were placed, including 280 investment, 65 innovative and 52 completed projects with a total investment of more than 24 billion $;
  • 2014 With the assistance of the Secretariat, the 18th Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Transit Kazakhstan” was organized, which became the most important Central Asian event in the transport, logistics, engineering and related industries. 85 transport and logistics companies took part in the exhibition: Kazakhstan - 30, Lithuania - 13, Russia - 12, Latvia - 12, Estonia - 10, Belarus - 5, China - 3, Ukraine - 2, USA - 1;
  • 2014 The Secretariat conducted outreach events of the Higher Attestation Commission in Washington (Meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank), Shanghai (10th Chinese International Financial Forum), Luxembourg (Forum “Investment and Investment Finance: Making Europe On the Path of Sustainable Development”), Vienna (3 Annual Meeting of the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation (CGDC)), Brisbane (Madrid Club meeting on “Working Society. A G20 Appeal”), Seoul (Seoul Conference of the Australian G20 Presidency);
  • 2014 The Secretariat presented the Draft Concept of the WAC at the 4th Convention of the Turkic-American Alliance (April 8–9, 2014, Washington) and at the “Global Meeting on Financing for Development” event organized by ECOSOC;
  • 2014 With the support of the Secretariat on the basis of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi was created the Global Hub of the UN Program "Academic Impact" on sustainable development;
  • 2014 The Secretariat held an exhibition “Global Risk Expo”, a new international event of the B2G format (Business to Government), designed to integrate cooperation between the executive authorities and international and domestic business structures to form decisions and recommendations on an international scale;
  • 2015 As a result of two WACs, the Concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan was adopted, which was included in the resolution of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly;
  • 2015-2017 As part of the promotion of the international projects “G-Global” and “EXPO-2017”, the Secretariat held 4037 events (679 online, 201 offline abroad and 3157 oyfline in Kazakhstan);
  • 2015-2019 The Secretariat, together with the Coalition for a Green Economy and G-Global Development (hereinafter referred to as the Coalition), carries out a set of measures for the implementation of 15 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals;
  • 2016 The Secretariat, together with the United Nations, organized High Level Events “EXPO - 2017 as a contribution to SDG 7 and Sustainable, Energy for All” in New York;
  • 2016 The Secretariat together with the Association of Volunteers of Kazakhstan (AVK) organized the International Youth Forum "GREEN BRIDGE";
  • 2016 The Secretariat presented the international projects “G-Global” and “EXPO-2017” at the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum in New York;
  • 2016 The Secretariat presented international projects “G-Global” and “EXPO-2017” at the International Forum “Beyond Monetary Policy” in Washington;
  • 2016-2019 The Secretariat, together with the Coalition, has developed Two Standards: Greenfoodkz - environmental labeling of organic agricultural products; Greenstandartkz - energy efficiency labeling of buildings;
  • 2018-2020. The Secretariat has made several major proposals for the draft of the new environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For example, the “polluter pays” principle, the introduction of the concept of “best available technologies”, by analogy with OECD countries;
  • 2019 The Secretariat together with the Coalition announced 2 republican competitions. The first is the “Green Office”, which aims to identify the most energy-efficient and environmentally friendly companies in the country. The second-Republican media competition on the topic “Green economy: Kazakhstan’s contribution to the achievement of SDG-2030”;
  • 2017 The Secretariat together with the Coalition implemented the project “Arnasay - the first“ green ”village of Kazakhstan”;
  • 2017 The Secretariat together with AVK organized the Youth Camp “EXPO-Camp”;
  • 2017 The Secretariat together with AVK held the III International Forum “Partnership Program“ Green ”Bridge;
  • 2017-2019. The Secretariat, together with the Coalition, is actively promoting the project “Heritage EXPO” (Kazakhstan in 2017 held the World Specialized Exhibition “EXPO-2017” dedicated to “green” topics);
  • 2013-2019. The Secretariat together with the Coalition within the project “Support for Women's Entrepreneurship” trained more than 11,000 women in rural entrepreneurship, of which 51 received a grant of $ 4,000 to implement their own business ideas, and more than 130 jobs were created in the village ;
  • 2017-2019. The Secretariat together with the Coalition in 8 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Akmola, Karaganda, Almaty, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Zhambyl regions and Almaty) opened branches of the Arnasai Green Technologies Center;
  • 2018 The Secretariat together with the “EXPO-WOMEN” International Organization held the event “Green Week” and the International Forum “Ecology, Green Economy and Innovations - a Factor of Sustainable Development of the Mangystau Region”;
  • 2018 With the support of the Secretariat on the basis of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi the Ban Ki-moon Institute for Sustainable Development was established;
  • 2018 The Secretariat together with the “EXPO-WOMEN” municipality organized the I International Forum of Rural Women, which was supported by the World Association of Rural Women;
  • 2018 The Council of OIC Foreign Ministers (57 states) supported the initiative of the First President of RK-Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayeva “G-Global” as the most influential force in determining international economic policy by expanding the number of countries participating in the search for global anti-crisis solutions;
  • 2018 The Secretariat, with the support of the Akimat of Nur-Sultan, held the 1st International Forum “Global Silk Road-Mayors’ Forum”;
  • 2019 Initiative “G-Global. Greater Eurasia ”was included in the Final Document of the Committee of Senior Officials of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which was adopted by government delegations from more than 25 countries;
  • 2019 The Secretariat together with the International Financial Center “Astana” held the I International Business Forum “Global Silk Road”;
  • 2019 The Secretariat has become the International Partner of the “Belt&Road” Project along with such organizations as: Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), EU Strategy for Connecting Europe and Asia, EU and China Connectivity Platform, EU Eastern Partnership, Eurasian Economic Union, African Union, League of Arab States, Organization of American States, Pacific Alliance, Latin American and Caribbean Community (CELAC), etc.
  • 2019 3 initiatives of the International Secretariat G-Global were included in the Final Communiqué of the II “Belt&Road” Forum, which was supported by the Leaders of about 40 states:
    • International Silk Road Academy of Sciences;
    • I International Forum “Global Silk Road-Mayors’ Forum”;
    • Global “Silk Road” Award.
  • 2019 The Secretariat organized I Plenary session of the Global Congress of universities “Youth contribution to the realization of SDGs-2030” in Almaty with participation of representatives of more than 500 universities from more than 60 countries;
  • 2019 The Secretariat, together with KazNU named after al-Farabi and Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), conducted QS Worldwide conference “Journey to Global Prominence: Harmony of Human Heritage and Advanced Technology” (more than 250 universities from 60 countries)

  • 2019 The Secretariat, together with KazNU named after al-Farabi and Silk Road Universities Network organized General Assembly of Silk Road Universities Network (SUN) (more than 120 universities from 30 countries)

  • 2019 The Secretariat, together with KazNU named after al-Farabi and University Social Responsibility Network (USRN) USRN Staff Development Workshop (more than 50 universities from 12 countries)

  • 2019 The Secretariat, together with KazNPU named after Abay and Kazakhstan-Sorbonne Institute held Kazakh-French Forum “The role of universities in the realization of the SDGs-2030: an example of cooperation between Kazakh and French universities” (more than 50 universities from 10 countries)

  • 2019 The Secretariat, together with Kazakh National Agrotechnical University organized International forum “Contribution of agricultural universities to the realization of SDGs-2030” (more than 50 universities from 20 countries)

(September 20).

  • 2019 the Secretariat held the II Plenary Session “The Role of Universities in the Implementation of SDG-2030” of the Global Congress of Universities “The Role of Youth in the Implementation of SDG-2030” as part of the Global Education Fair. Representatives of more than 300 universities from 50 countries took part in this event;
  • 2019г. The Secretariat, together with the Coalition for Green Economy and G-Global Development holds Rural Women's Forums in all 14 regions of Kazakhstan to actively involve rural women to the realization of SDGs-2030;
