Currently parliamentary institutions have became the most typical kind of intergovernmental cooperation and serve the instrument of "soft power", for the solution of global, regional and integration problems. The emergence and development of new inter-parliamentary institutions occur on the background of increase in the number and influence of the inter-parliamentary institutions in the world.
Goals:
Enhancing the authority of interparliamentary institutions in promoting the ideas of parliamentary democracy, respect for human rights and the rule of law, strengthening their influence on the development of parliamentarism and transformation of parliamentary diplomacy into the leading player in the international political process.
Key issues:
Internal and external institutional problems of the countries - participants of the inter-parliamentary institutions.
Politians of reformation of the state internal structure, the powers of deputies and their areas of competence.
Formation of the dialogue within the inter-parliamentary assemblies, the establishment of a stable relationship between the statutory and working bodies of the leading organizations.
Strengthen dialogue with civil society and the strengthening of inter-parliamentary institutions in the field of peacekeeping activities of parlamentaries.

Development of International system of parliamentary diplomacy, monitoring and evaluation of elections, formation of a positive image and status of the inter-parliamentary organizations are the priorities claimed in the international arena to the national parliamentary level in the Member States which define the image of the parliamentary institutions. The role of parliamentary diplomacy in the context of globalization lies in the socialization of the parliamentary delegations through their joint practice and training and through their participation in the development of model legislation. Inter-parliamentary Assembly perform the function of the inclusion of parliamentarians in the general concept of the normcreating approaches and values that contribute to the formation of a common framework of parliamentary culture, mitigation of geopolitical competition and stabilization of the global order.
